A Kathputli basically means puppets made of wood and decorated in colorful clothes .Kathputli dance and performance is one of the major tourist attractions of Rajasthan. The Bhatt community, a society of agricultural laborers of Rajasthan, mostly from Jodhpur and Jaipur makes these puppets as well as performs with them. It remains their traditional occupation. Originally they belong, to the Nagaur area in the Marwar region; These people travels all through the countryside’s, from places to places to exhibit their storytelling skills along with this mesmerizing performance of finger play
